Xi’an

 

You must not forget to visit Xi’an. This wonderful city is famous for its Terracotta Warriors, they are sure to be a real eye opener when you discover the 8,000 lifelike figures, all with an individual expression. It really is such a unique place to visit, nowhere else in the world will be like anything you have ever seen before here in Xi’an.

 

Beijing

 

Since being regenerated for the 2008 Olympics, Beijing has become more popular than ever and is now heard of all over the world. Enriched with culture and historic wonders, Beijing is famous for its magnificent Great Wall. This beauty runs over 373 miles long, the most popular area of it is the Badaling Great Wall. You may want to avoid this area during peak times as it can get extremely crowded but be sure to visit Mutianyu Great Wall instead, it is arguably the most beautiful part of the Wall but is considerably less crowded. Remember to take a lot of water and some food too, as some parts of the wall are quite deserted!

 

Li River

 

Relax and get away from the cities for a least one day during your time in China, and visit the beautiful Li River. Board a river-cruise, sit back, and enjoy the stunning scenery of strangely shaped mountain peaks reaching into the sky. The green tinged water and green banks will make you really appreciate the natural beauty that China hides, and the glitz and glam of the city will feel a million miles away!
