South Africa

South Africa

South Africa is an incredibly beautiful and diverse country. It is said to ‘offer the whole world in one country’ making it the perfect destination for anyone wanting to see an amazing part of the world with a breath-taking twist.

Cape Town

Situated on the southwestern tip of Africa, Cape Town offers stunning beaches (13 of them have been given the blue flag). The divine white sand beaches are perfect for surfing, swimming or even sunbathing. There is always something to do here, whether it is an exhilarating extreme water sport or chatting to the friendly locals, there is sure to be something that suits you. Whatever you are interested in, nature, culture, heritage or want some exciting vibes then Cape Town can supply your needs!

Whilst visiting, be sure to indulge in the incredible first-class dining that Cape Town can offer. Sip on one of the award winning wines that has helped made Cape Town put its name on the world map for many generations.

One of the great perks of the incredible Cape Town is the value for money. It is recognised as one of the most affordable destinations in the world, making your trip to Cape Town that much sweeter!

Safari

Experience something you have never done before by taking a ride around a game reserve seeing all the animals South Africa has, which are amazing! Seeing these incredible creatures is a once in a lifetime opportunity that should not be missed. Elephants, rhino and giraffes galore, why not take your experience with the popular Buffelsdrift Game Lodge? Travel Time will be able to take you to there if you are interested.

Cango Caves

The Cango Caves are also somewhere to be aware of for all the right reasons. Almost like an underground world, limestone has made this cave into a spectacular wonder of dripstone caverns, vast halls and towering formations. You can choose if you would like to do the standard tour or the adventure that is half an hour longer and you are able to delve further into the caves. It is up to you which one you choose, but it is defiantly worth a visit.

Johannesburg

Unsurprisingly, Johannesburg is known as the urban forest with over 6 million trees. But do not let that fool you; Johannesburg is full of energy and life. It is almost buzzing with the amount of fun that is in the area. The nightlife is second to none, there are such a variety of places to go, you will struggle to choose! Jazz bars, live music bars, comedy clubs, and kwaito music all help to fill the streets with an uplifting, cool atmosphere.

Must do activities whilst you are visiting, is to find out about Johannesburg’s turbulent history. Take a look around the Apartheid Museum and Constitution Hill to really get to understand everything that went on. Also, take a look around one of the many malls. Rosebank mall has a splendid, traditional African market which is great if you are interested in different cultures.

Garden Route

South Africa’s garden route is quite simply, a beautiful stretch of coastline. It winds its way through 200km, passing forests and shorelines. Because you won’t be able to see all of the Garden Route, focus on the extraordinary resort of Knysna. It has a beautiful lagoon setting with a backdrop of lush green mountains. Swim, fish, or sail in this untouched wonder.
