Make no bones about it, this weekend break for dog lovers is guaranteed to be a howling success! Crufts 2013, held at the National Exhibition Centre near Birmingham, will be another world class event organised by the Kennel Club. Throughout the day a variety of events will take place within the NEC's huge halls. The final breed groups will be selecting their overall winners; dogs will be demonstrating their agility in various competitions; a visit to the Discover Dogs section is a must where viewing of around 200 breeds and advice will be given concerning the correct choice of dog; and demonstrations will be taking place concerning canine care and training. Naturally there will be the opportunity to purchase, from the variety of trade stands present, anything from a lead to a dog's duvet. Whether you're a breeder of a prime pedigree or simply the master of a playful pooch, if you're a doggie fan, this is one event you won't want to miss!

Itinerary

Day 1: Stratford-upon-Avon

Your holiday begins when you board our private coach in the morning and travel to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of the bard William Shakespeare, for some free time. Stratford is a delightful place to visit at any time of the year. Its attractive streets with their timbered buildings house an assortment of interesting shops and refreshment places. The stretch of the River Avon alongside the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre makes a particularly delightful location for a stroll. Unsurprisingly, Stratford houses a number of tourist attractions connected with its most famous son, so if the weather is a little inclement you're sure to find somewhere to pass an hour or two. Later in the afternoon you re-board our coach and continue to our hotel for your included evening meal.

Day 2: Crufts Dog Show

Following your included breakfast you board our coach and travel to the National Exhibition Centre near Birmingham, for our included entrance to the final day of Crufts 2013. After having had plenty of time to explore the halls and view the demonstrations and competitions taking place, such as the obedience and agility displays and the working and pastoral competitions we take our included seat for the Best in Show. After the judging you re-board our coach and return to your local area.
Please note that we will be leaving the show after the Best in Show is judged at around 2100 hours and will therefore arrive back in your local area very late at night or the very early hours of Monday morning. At the time of writing the confirmed details for Crufts 2013 have not yet been finalised. Although we anticipate the programme to be as stated above this is subject to confirmation.
