Both past and present fans of the popular Yorkshire TV soap ''Emmerdale'' will find plenty to delight them on our weekend in Yorkshire, Retrace the steps of past characters in the former location village of Esholt, as well as uncover the magic and mystery behind the world of television and film with our visit to the National Media Museum in Bradford.
Day 1: Esholt
As well as having an opportunity to photograph yourself and friends outside the "The Woolpack", you can seek out Bunker's Hill that features the legendary terrace of cottages that included Seth Armstrong's original home. After some free time we visit the market town of Otley. This town has been a centre for the TV industry for many years so don’t be surprised to recognise scenes from Emmerdale, as well as Heartbeat and The Chase. After some free time we continue to our overnight hotel.
Day 2: National Media Museum Bradford
After your included breakfast we check-out of our hotel and travel to Bradford for our included visit to the National Media Museum. This popular modern museum explores the world of the media through a combination of permanent galleries, temporary exhibitions and three cinemas (please note there is a charge for entry to the IMAX Cinema). After our visit we commence the return journey, arriving back in your local area in the early to mid evening.
