Day 1: Glasgow
Your holiday begins when you board our private coach in the early morning and travel to Glasgow. The vibrant shopping area in the heart of the city is focused around the pedestrianised areas of Buchanan Street, Argyle Street and Sauchiehall Street. Other highlights include the refurbished St Enoch Centre, the largest arcade in Scotland and the largest glass structure in Europe, and Princes Square which houses a selection of designer names. There are more than 30 art galleries and museums, nearly half of which offer free entry. After our visit we continue to our hotel for your included evening meal.
Day 2: Edinburgh
After your included breakfast we travel to Edinburgh, which is packed with attractions, famous landmarks and entwined in Scottish tradition. There are two towns, offering visitors the perfect blend of all things historic and modern. The Old Town is the evocative heart of Edinburgh, where medieval streets and courtyards surround many of Scotland’s most important buildings. For a capital city, Edinburgh is a surprisingly green place and, even in the heart, you are never far from wide open spaces where you can take in amazing views. After our visit we return to your local area, arriving back in the mid to late evening.
